Brian Todd Wohlers - Plainview

The funeral for Brian Todd Wohlers, 24, of Plainview, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 27, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview with Rev. David Frederickson officiating.

Brian Todd Wohlers was born April 15, 1988, to Todd and Sandy (Thompson) Wohlers in Mesquite, Texas. He was active playing baseball, soccer, roller blade hockey and swimming.

In 1999, his family moved to Plainview. Brian graduated from Plainview High School in 2006. He was active in high school sports. In 2006, as part of the wrestling team, he participated in the state tournament and won a state track title.

At age 18, he became a co-owner, operator of a paintball course in Faribault. He also traveled nationally refereeing professional paintball tournaments.

He was attending RCTC in the physical therapy program and was working for American Airlines.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing and camping.

Brian is survived by his parents, Todd and Sandy Wohlers; two brothers, Dustin Mussell and Joshua Wohlers; grandparents, William and Yvonne Wohlers and Jon and Ann Brehmer, all of Plainview. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, niece and nephew.

The visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
