Bryce J. Clement -- Rochester
Bryce J. Clement, 23, of Rochester, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday (June 13, 2016).
Bryce was born on April 26, 1993, to Linda (Clement) Bray. He lived in the Preston area until age 13, when he moved to Lake City. He graduated from Lake City High School in 2011. He then moved to Rochester.
Bryce had a kind heart and was full of passion and love for those around him, but he struggled with his own demons of depression, which eventually took his life. His laugh was infectious, and he was always ready to give out giant hugs.
Bryce loved hanging out with friends, being a complete goof-ball, playing trumpet and guitar, and most of all spending time with the sweetest little girl, Sophie, who calls him daddy.
Bryce is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Don Bray of Chatfield; his brother, Draven House of Rochester, his sweet little girl, Sophie, his stepsiblings, Megan (Adam) Ross of Troy, N.Y., Patrick (Brittney) Bray of Suamico, Wis., Phillip Bray of Princeton, Minn., and Mikaela Bray of Chatfield; his grandparents, Michael and Joan Clement of Chatfield, and "Grandma" Ruth Olson of Lanesboro, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents and his beloved uncle, Jerry Carter.
A funeral service for Bryce will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, with the Rev. Aaron Wager officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home an hour prior to the service.
