Catherine L. Finseth - Rochester

Catherine Lillian Finseth, age 66, of Deerwood, formerly of Rochester, died on Nov.22, 2012 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

She was born on March 15, 1946 in Duluth to Stanley and Doris (Willis) Pawlowicz. Cathy retired to the Deerwood area in 2006. She was a retired bookkeeper at Rochester Brick. She served as treasurer of the Cuyuna Range Heritage Network. She was a dedicated wife and an amazing role model to her children. She enjoyed endless hours playing with her grandchildren and settling into the joys of her golden years. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, Rick; two sons, Kevin (Kim) Barber, of Hamilton, Ontario Canada and Bryan (Gina) Barber, of Brainerd; a daughter, Nicole (Jeff) Stirewalt, of Brainerd; four sisters, Peggy (John) Cloutier, of Duluth, Mary (Dave) Putzke, of Duluth, Susan (Rick) Peterson, of Sturgeon Lake, and Judy (Jon) Miducki, of Chardon, OH; and 11 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents and a brother, Daniel Pawlowicz.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of services.
