Charles William 'Chuck' Koeth — Chatfield

Charles William "Chuck" Koeth left this earth to meet his Heavenly Father Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, after a short illness.

Chuck was born June 20, 1940, in Winona. He picked up trumpet at a young age and became a talented musician, playing with many bands throughout the years, including The Ernie Reck Band which aired on TV for over a decade. Chuck was also a talented upholsterer. He worked alongside his father at their upholstery shop in Winona before moving to Chatfield to work for Tuohy Furniture and later as a business partner at S&K Furniture in Chatfield.

Chuck is survived by his two daughters, Kirsten and Emy (Jeremy) Rabe; and Arlene Koeth; his former wife and forever friend. His goofy antics will never be forgotten by his grandchildren, Autumn and Lilly Rabe and Tristan Taylor, who will miss him dearly.

Chuck had a strong faith in God and would like those who knew him to celebrate his passing to his Eternal Home. Please join his family in celebrating his life on Saturday, Feb. 7, during an open house from noon to 3 p.m. at Arlene's home, 509 Ave. C NE in Chatfield.

Please share a memory of Chuck and sign his online guestbook at .
