Craig Dugstad — Frontenac

Craig Edward Dugstad, 62, of Frontenac, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at the Mayo Health System, Lake City, hospital.

He was born Aug. 25, 1953, in Austin, to Earl and Leota (Lien) Dugstad. He grew up in Kenyon, until his family moved to Lake City in 1968. Craig graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971. He married Cindee Durst on April 22, 1978, in Lake City. Craig worked for Cargill as a miller for 36 years until his retirement in 2008. He and Cindee opened Provenzano's Restaurante in Red Wing. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Craig is survived by his wife, Cindee; seven children, Andeea, Aleea, Bradee, Rhett, and Camee Dugstad, all of New York, and Wade and Sam (Alexis) Dugstad, both of Lake City; mother, Leota Dugstad of Lake City; three brothers, Bryan (Judy) of Danbury, Wis., Bruce (Debbie) of Red Wing, and Mark of Lake City; one sister, Lori (Bill) Merriam of Crystal, Minn.; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl.

A celebration of Craig's life will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel – Lake City.
