Dawn Ladwig -- Rochester

Funeral services for Dawn Ladwig will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. The Rev. Maurice Hagen will officiate. The visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Mrs. Ladwig, 50, of Rochester, died Wednesday April 4, 2018, at her home in Rochester.

Dawn Marie Davidson was born March 3, 1968, in Rochester to Duane and Elaine Davidson. A 1988 graduate of John Marshall High School, she waitressed for many years, and eventually became a beautician with certification from two cosmetology colleges. She worked at various hair and cosmetology businesses in Rochester.

She was a proud mother and grandmother, loved music and dancing, and enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee. She married William Blanchard in 1987, and the couple divorced after 25 years. She married Jeff Ladwig in 2013.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Ladwig of Rochester; sons, Seth (Heather) Blanchard of Byron, David Davidson of Rochester; daughters, Shannon (Mathew) Johnson of Rochester, Leah Blanchard of Rochester; grandchildren, Nodin, Avalynn, and Blake Johnson, Riley, April, and Madilynn Henrichs, and Kylie Davidson. Also surviving are her mother, Elaine Davidson of Rochester; a sister, Nora (Patrick) Griffin of Rochester; and brothers, Darin Davidson of Moose Lake, Kevin (Lori) Davidson of Rosemount, and Mark (Vicki) Davidson of Chippewa Falls. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Davidson.
