Delores May Johnson — Rochester

Delores May Johnson (Dee) passed away at the age of 88 on Sunday (June 19, 2016) at the Samaritan Bethany Nursing Home in Rochester from cancer.

Delores was beautiful, thoughtful and generous with an incredible sense of humor. She also enjoyed spending time with family and working outside and caring for her flowers. Frail in body but not in heart. She made sure things were done her way. We will remember her as a faithful and dedicated Jehovah's Witness. Delores will always be remembered in our hearts.

A memorial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Delores leaves behind a daughter, Debbie Kirby of Stewartville; son, Kim (Cindy) Johnson of Rochester; a loving and loyal sister, Joyce Brogan of Rochester; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Vicki Pencille; and two brothers, Neil Hanson and Don Hanson.
