Dianne H. Tesmer - St. Charles

The funeral service for Dianne H. Tesmer will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Terrill Bramstedt officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Elgin Cemetery.

Dianne H. Tesmer, 67, of St. Charles,, died Wednesday afternoon, July 18, 2012, at the Olmsted Medical Center Hospital in Rochester.

Dianne Tesmer was born July 23, 1944, in Utica, to Henry C. and Clara (Schreiber) Fabian. She attended elementary school in St. Charles, and graduated from St. Charles High School in 1962. On Aug. 21, 1965, she married Maynard W. Tesmer in St. Charles. Dianne and her husband lived on a farm in rural Dover. She moved to St. Charles about four years ago.

Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and cooking. She baked cakes and made candies for many special occasions. Dianne also loved her cats.

Dianne is survived by her sister, Arlene (James) Braun of St. Charles; her brother, Marvin (Mary Jo) Fabian of Vancouver, Wash.; many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard W. Tesmer, her parents and one brother.

Friends and family may visit from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, in Plainview, and one hour before the church service in Elgin on Saturday.
