Donald J., Nelson, 68, of Blaine died Friday, Oct. 9.

Nelson was preceded in death by parents, Rudy and Ruth; brother, Tom; sister, Pat Burow and nephew, Dean Burow. Survived by loving wife, Ellen; sons, Brad (Lisa) Brian, Matthew (Michelle) and Andrew (Karrie); grandchildren, Hannah, Alexander, Avery and Addison; brothers, James (Thelma) and Scott (Gail); sister-in-law, Donna Nelson; and brother-in-law David Burow. Don was retired after 35 years employment as an operations manager with Bell Systems/AT&T and T-Mobile. Memorial service at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel, 107th Ave. NE and Highway 65 on Thursday at 11 a.m., with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. Internment at Kenyon Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Pulmonary Research at Mayo Clinic or Donor's Choice.
