Donald Lewis Brown — Rochester

Donald Lewis Brown, 61, of Rochester, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, at his residence.

Donald was born April 1, 1953, in Rochester, to Charles and Ida (Johnson) Brown. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School. Don worked at Pace Dairy for over 20 years. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He enjoyed gold prospecting, fishing, bowling and riding his motorcycle, which included his annual trip to Sturgis. Don also enjoyed going to auctions and collecting pictures, baseball cards and brass items. Above all, Don loved spending time with his family.

Don is survived by his siblings, Cheryl (Jerry) Horning of Pine Island, Charles Brown of Ostrander, Phyllis Miller of Douglas, Nancy Tiabo of Rochester, Richard Brown of Ostrander and Susan Brown of Oronoco; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place N.W., Rochester. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
