Dorothy E. Pretsch — Rochester

Dorothy E. Pretsch, 91, formerly of Rochester, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at the Stewartville Care Center where she had resided a short time.

Dorothy Elaine Pretsch was born April 26, 1925, in Beaver Township, Fillmore County, to Elmer and Erna (Tabor) Pretsch. She attended rural schools through the eigth grade and was employed by Mayo Clinic in Rochester for more than 38 years. Dorothy enjoyed going bowling.

She is survived by her sisters, Mildred Maloney of Minneapolis, Erna (Elton) Tart of Spring Valley, Alice (Lloyd) Hofner of Waterloo, Iowa, and Norma (Wallace) Tate of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
