Eleanore H. Sitek -Winona

ROCHESTER — Eleanore Helen Sitek, age 90, formerly of Winona, peacefully passed away on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Samaritan Bethany Heights Nursing Home in Rochester.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1920, in Arcadia, Wis., the daughter of George and Helen (Marsolek) Kuka. She married Aloysius Sitek on Sept. 18, 1937, in Winona. They lived several years in Detroit, Mich., before returning to Winona in the early 1960s. Eleanore was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Steven) Stark, Rochester, and Patricia (Gerald) Schuh, Minnesota City; grandchildren, Katherine Danielson, Scott Schuh, Melissa Schuh and Christopher Schuh; great-grandchildren, Madalyn and Paige Danielson; sisters, Elaine Valentine, Winona, and Sarah Wozney, Lilburn, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant son; brother, George Kuka; and sister, Irene Eichendorf.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home in Winona. Pastor Jean Boese will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winona.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, from 12 noon until the time of the service.
