Everett Schull — Dodge Center
The funeral service for Everett William Schull will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 Second St. NW, Dodge Center, with the Rev. Barbara Streed officiating. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.
Everett William Schull, 92, passed away on Dec. 15, 2015, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Everett was born on May 29, 1923, the son of Herman and Minnie (Hienze) Schull, in Mankato, Minn. In 1953, he was united in marriage to Claudine Outcalt, and they later divorced. Everett served in the Philippines and in Korea during World War II. After his service, he farmed for a time near Medford and later worked for farmers the rest of his life, retiring near Mantorville. Everett was a kind and gentle man who loved dogs, cats, livestock, gardening and the great outdoors.
Everett is survived by his dear friend, Becky Knoepke, and her family; two daughters; four grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Linda) Schull and Marvin Schull, both of Medford, Minn.; Harold (Juanita) Schull, Tucson, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; two brothers; a niece and a nephew.
The family would like to thank Faith Lutheran Church, Pastor Barbara Streed and Fairview Care Center staff for all the comfort and help these past many years.
