Frank Steven Jamnick Jr. -- Rochester
Frank Steven Jamnick Jr., 70, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Sunday (June 12, 2016) at his home.
Frank was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Eveleth, Minn., to Frank S. and Anna (Perusek) Jamnick Sr. Frank moved from Eveleth to Rochester in 1992. He worked at PossAbilities for numerous years and the past two years at Seniors through PossAbilities. He loved participating in the Special Olympics, winning many medals in bowling and basketball. Frank loved listening to music, especially polka music. He enjoyed going fishing, watching hockey and baseball. Frank was a very happy man and loved being around people.
Frank is survived by his sister, Anne Marie Kangas; five nephews and two nieces.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert, and best friend, Ron Kangas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place N.W., Rochester. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
