Genevieve C. Marsh - Morristown, Minn.

ROCHESTER — Genevieve (Mrs. Donald) Marsh, age 76, of Morristown, died on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown. Interment will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Morristown. Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Sunday, July 25, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Monday.

Genevieve Catherine, the daughter of Peter and Annie (Steimetz) Thomas, was born on May 6, 1934, in New Market. She married Donald L. Marsh on November 26, 1949, in Faribault. She was a great cook and baker. Genevieve loved her family and collecting dolls. She also enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and riding on her golf cart.

She loved life.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; four children, LaVerne (and Yvonne) Marsh of Morristown, Sandy (and special friend, Ron Teeter) Tiedemann of Morristown, Elaine (and special friend, Joe Williams) Huebbe of Mazeppa and Michael (and Patty) Marsh of Mazeppa; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; five siblings, Elmer (and Verna) Thomas of Faribault, Dorothy Carpenter of Waseca, William Thomas of Faribault, Ambrose (and Diane) Thomas of Faribault, and Alvin (and Germaine) Thomas of Prescott, Wis.; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Marsh; one granddaughter, Karen Tiedemann; and two siblings, Alvina Kotek and Sylvester Thomas.
