James Fuller — St. Charles

James Kendall Fuller, 67, of St. Charles, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at St. Mark's Care Center in Austin.

Jim was born Aug. 14, 1946, in Winona, to Ken and Dorothy (Danks) Fuller. He graduated from St. Charles High School. Jim served in the United States Army. On Aug. 1, 1970, he married Lana Lois Ryan, and they were later divorced.

Jim loved life and lived it to the fullest. Although he left the farm and went into retail, he always considered himself a farmer. His hobbies were cooking, woodworking, gardening, fishing and playing cards. He truly enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, making things for his grandchildren and giving others his produce and advice.

He is survived by two sons, Tim (Sophie) Fuller of Rochester and Joe Fuller of St. Charles; six grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Fuller; two sisters, Pat (Dave) Bauer of St. Charles and Sandy (Terry) Waggoner of Omaha, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - St. Charles, with Chaplain Warren D. Anderson officiating. Visitation will be noon until the time of the service.

Memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Hospice and Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
