Jeanne Adams — Goodhue

Jeanne Rae Adams, 61, of Goodhue, passed away suddenly at her residence on Dec. 29, 2015. A memorial service will be on Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. at The Lions Community Center, 105 North Broadway, Goodhue, with a one-hour visitation prior. Arrangements made with Mahn Funeral Home – Larson Chapel.

Jeanne Rae Titel was born March 11, 1954, to Carroll and Gloria (nee Harr) Titel in Amery, Wis. Jeanne attended school in Cannon Falls. She married Jay Adams on May 1, 1971, in Red Wing. Jeanne and Jay moved around to several towns while raising their family of four boys. They settled into their retirement in Goodhue.

Jeanne was a loving person who always put everyone's needs first; she was a hard worker who kept busy, and was always working on a project. Jeanne enjoyed camping, hunting, gardening, caring for animals, spending time outside, remodeling projects with Jay, babysitting her grandkids, and spending time with family.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jay Adams; mother, Gloria Titel; four sons, Joe (Tammy) of West Concord, Josh (fiancé Jenni) of Goodhue, Jamie (fiancé Toni) of Lake City, Jon (Crystal) of Goodhue; seven grandchildren, Nick, Carrie, Dani, Jackson, Jena, Tessa, and Tara; six sisters, Debbie (Curt) Ziemer, Vickie (Mark) Cullinane, Sue Titel, Kelly Helgren, Chris (Brian) Smith, Stacy (James) Kafka; three brothers, Bob Titel, Roger Titel, James (Nettie) Titel; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Titel; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law.
