Jeff McGovern — Rochester

Jeff McGovern was born at the naval base in Waukegan, Ill., on April 19, 1959. He pass away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, in Sahuarita, Ariz.

He was preceded in death his mother, Lois Brakke McGovern, grandparents, Luther and Martha Brakke and Jack and Maxine McGovern.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Diane; two children, Jared McGovern and Ashley Martes (Will); grandson, Ayden; his parents, John and stepmother, Marjorie McGovern; stepdaughter, Christina McDrano (Victor); sister, Cindy Harris (Steve); brothers, Bruce (Karen) and Bradley (Connie); stepsisters, Sherrie Eggert (Mike), Susan Evans, Sally Burke (Rick) and Sandy Ashton (George); and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his special uncle, Mike McGovern who was one year younger than Jeff, they loved to talk about all sports, and made bets with each other.

Jeff McGovern graduated from Byron High school and attended ITT Tech in Tucson, Ariz.

We will all miss him greatly!!!
