Joyceann 'Joyce' Laures — New Hampton, Iowa

Joyceann "Joyce" Laures, 79, of New Hampton, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Holy Family Parish, with Father Mark Osterhaus celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Hampton.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton, with a 4:30 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass on Wednesday.

Joyce is survived by her one son, Jerry Laures of New Hampton; three daughters, Julie (Gary) Swehla of Alta Vista, Iowa, Jean (Bruce) Hanson of Rochester, and Dr. Jaqueline (Dr. David) Gore of Marietta, Ga.; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; four brothers; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John, on Aug. 20, 2003.
