June I. Schwarz - Rochester

June Ione Schwarz, 88, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

June was born in Rochester on June 4, 1923, to Harry and Lanetta (Frank) Bennett. She graduated from Rochester High School on June 19, 1941. June worked in the Mayo Clinic Business Office and the Facilities Engineer Department as a receptionist. She retired in June 1978.

June married Harold E. Schwarz on Oct. 7, 1949, at Peace United Church of Christ.

She enjoyed snowmobiling in the Alps, paddle boating on the Zumbro, and had many collections of Door County fishermen, Chinese mud men, ships in bottles, and anything else made in Italy. She also enjoyed coffee ice cream.

June is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold.

June is preceded in death by her parents.

June was cremated and will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery. No services will be held, according to her wishes.
