Kay Dunker — Rochester
A funeral Mass for Kay "Katherine" L. Dunker, 60, of Rochester, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at Pax Christi Catholic with Monsignor Donald Schmitz officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Kenyon.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
Katherine Lorraine Dunker was born on Oct. 6, 1953, in Owatonna to George and Irene (Soufal) Dunker. She died on July 31, 2014, at her home.
Kay graduated from Kenyon High School in 1972 and Faribault Vo Tech in 1973. She worked at Waters Instruments for 28 years and seven years at Spring Hill Suites as breakfast coordinator.
She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, crocheting, sewing and softball games.
Survivors include her two sisters, Linda (Martin) Chesney of Pine Island and Jean Dunker of Rochester; three nieces, Tammy (Dave) Carlson, Kim Chesney (Brad Smith) and Karee (Craig) Malterud; one nephew, Chris (Mary) Chesney; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Anthony Dodge, John, Sarah and Alex Carlson, Olivia and Carter Smith, Russell, Reed and Halle Malterud and Morgan, Kira and Jacob Chesney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
