Kenneth 'Kenny' Ferris — Rochester

Kenneth "Kenny" Ferris, 78, of Rochester, died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Golden Living Centers in Rochester.

Kenny was born in Rochester on Feb. 13, 1937, to Elmer and Leila Ferris.

He will be remembered by his funny stories, kind heart, and willingness to help those in need. He always had a story to tell and a special way to make you feel good. He was a good friend of The Salvation Army.

He is survived by his two sons, Richard Ferris and David Ferris; his sisters, Beverly Ferris and Marlene (Louis) Rucker; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Ferris; parents; and sister, LaDonna Eggert.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, 41 Seventh Ave. NE, Rochester. Cake and coffee will be served after the service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Central Towers, 200 First Ave. NW, Rochester.
