Krim Heise
Krim "Kim" Heise, 54, of Faribault, formerly of Northfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at the Faribault Care Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, with the Rev. Steve Crombie officiating. Interment will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church – Lincoln Cemetery in Lake City, at 4:15 p.m Monday afternoon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Monday.
Krim Randy Heise, the son of Katharine (Heise) Gradner, was born June 19, 1957, in St. Paul. As a young child, Kim was adopted by his grandparents, Karl and Ruby (Meyer) Heise. Kim was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church – Lincoln in Lake City. On Aug. 7, 1999, Kim was united in marriage to Kaye Zimmerman at the Little Prairie United Methodist Church. As a young adult, Kim had the opportunity to travel the West Coast while being part of the carnival. After returning to Minnesota, he became plant manager for Poly-Tex and would also help with seasonal work at Syngenta in Stanton, Minn.
Kim was an avid Packers fan, he enjoyed fishing with his grandson, Logan, and motorcycling. He will be missed by family and also by friends at Risen Homes in Morristown.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye of Faribault; his daughter, Nicole Molina of Faribault; his grandchildren, Logan and Lacie Ann; his stepchildren, Jason Zimmerman and Chad Molina; his biological mother, Katharine Heise of Rochester; his siblings, Polly (Todd) Eggenberger of Shorewood, Karen (David) Romness of McLean, Va., and Kathy (Dallas) Farnsworth of Racine; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward (Donna) Zimmerman of Morristown, Steve (Marcy) Zimmerman of Faribault, Ruth Steward of Faribault and Darlene (Dean) Calvert of Northfield; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and by a sister, Patty.
