Kristy L. (Loomis) Tracy — Rochester

Kristy L. (Loomis) Tracy, 46, of Rochester, formerly of La Crescent, died after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013.

She was born in La Crosse, Wis., on Sept. 2, 1967, to Frederick A. and Sandra J. (Nohr) Comeau. Kristy graduated from La Crescent High School in 1986. After graduating from WWTC in 1992, she worked as a health unit coordinator in La Crosse and for the last 10 years in Rochester for Mayo Clinic at both Rochester Methodist and Saint Marys hospitals.

Kristy enjoyed traveling, concerts, craft projects and especially spending time with family and friends. She was the proud mother of two children and recently welcomed a grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Tracy of Rochester; daughter, Rebecca Loomis and grandson, Tay' Jaun of Onalaska; son, Robert Barney of Rochester; mother, Sandra (Ron) Hammond of La Crosse; father, Frederick Comeau of Postville, Iowa; brother, Erin (Jane) Comeau of Onalaska; and stepsister, Jennifer (Gabe) Gonzales of Washougal, Wash. She is further survived by her in-laws, Max and Carol Spaulding of Holmen, Wis., Richard Tracy, Ronda Burroughs and Max J. Spaulding; grandmother, Iva Lea Hammond and the entire Hammond family; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kristy was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Loomis, her brother, Kevin Comeau, her stepfather, Richard Larson and grandparents, Conrad and Lucille Nohr and Harry and Jane Comeau.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, La Crescent. The Rev. Michael Woods will officiate. Entombment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 1425 Jackson St., La Crosse, on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service.
