LaDonna Fallon – Waterville, Minn.

A visitation for LaDonna Fallon will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester.

LaDonna Rae Fallon, 59, of Waterville, Minn. died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at her home.

She was born on February 2, 1953, in Rochester to Sam and Maude (Goff) Rueb. She graduated from Mayo High School and later attended Rochester Vocational School. She worked at the Rochester State Hospital for nine years, and after it closed, continued to work at the same place for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she retired after 20 years.

LaDonna married Jim Fallon in Las Vegas in April of 1990. She and Jim built their retirement home on the lake front in Waterville, moving there in 2008.

LaDonna received an award for her avid volunteerism from the city of Waterville, where she was instrumental in the beautification of the downtown areas and parks where she painted and planted flowers and plants.

She enjoyed cake decorating, jet skiing, motorcycle riding, flowers and landscaping. She especially enjoyed drinking different teas, visiting bed and breakfasts and wineries.

LaDonna is survived by her husband, Jim; two daughters, Shauna Lynn Rasmussen of Rochester and Heather Ann Rasmussen of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Tyler James Fallon of Waterville; one grandchild, Elizabeth Jo Fallon; two sisters, Patricia (David) Campbell of Plymouth, Minn. and Mary Mitchell of Connecticut and one brother, Jim Erickson of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, a brother, George Rueb and a nephew, Derek Campbell.
