Lloyd Lambert - Chatfield

CHATFIELD — The funeral for Lloyd Lambert, 81, of Chatfield will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2010, at Chatfield Lutheran Church, with Rev. Norman Omodt officiating. Burial will be at the Orion Center Cemetery in rural Chatfield, with Military Funeral Honors provided by the Chatfield VFW post No. 6913.

Mr. Lambert died August 13, 2010, at his home.

Lloyd Carlton Lambert was born in Rochester on April 19, 1929 to Ira and Olive (Bernard) Lambert. He served in the United States Navy. On September 19, 1953 he married Donna Marie Anderson in Rochester. Donna died on December 12, 2008. Lloyd lived in Rochester and moved to Chatfield in 1955. He worked construction as a laborer, and was retired from the Chatfield School system where he was a janitor for 16 years.

Lloyd was a member of Chatfield Lutheran Church and the VFW of Chatfield.

Survivors include two sisters, Lucy Lambert of Chatfield, and Audrey Burge of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Donna.

Visitation will be one hour before the serve at Chatfield Lutheran Church on Friday, August 20, 2010. There will be no reviewal.
