Lorna J. Schilling -- Springdale, Ark.

Lorna J. (Gronvold) Schilling, of Springdale, Ark., passed away peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale on June 30, 2017, at the age of 82.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1934, on a farm near Byron to Orville and Serena (Olson) Gronvold. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Adam Schilling; sister, Arlene Norman; and brother, Lyle Gronvold.

On June 12, 1953, she married her husband, William Schilling, in Rochester. She retired after working as a private duty nurse in Kansas City, Mo. They had previously lived in Rochester and Kansas City before moving to Fayetteville, Ark.

Left to cherish Lorna's memory are her husband of 64 years, William Schilling; two daughters, Rondalyn "Roni" Schilling of Fayetteville, and Teri and husband, Ron Johnson of Fayetteville; a sister, Marie Parker of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jeff and wife, Jennifer of Forney, Texas, Benjamin Johnson of Fayetteville, and Katy and husband, Addison Seifritz of Fayetteville; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyleigh and Kelsey Johnson, Turner and Ellery Seifritz; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service was held July 3 at the Schilling home, 3207 Brad St., Springdale, AR.
