Lucille R. Hill - Rochester

Lucille R. Hill, 83, of Rochester, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her home in Rochester.

She was born Aug. 1, 1929, to Foster and Gina (Betten) Hill in LaCrosse, Wis. Lucille graduated from Lewiston High School, Lewiston, and later served in the Air Force for three years.

She did clerical work for an insurance company in Minneapolis and moved to Rochester where she worked at the State Hospital and then Rochester Community College until her retirement in 1994.

She enjoyed taking care of children and photography.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Gloria Hill, Rochester; and her three brothers, Everett Hill, Altus, Okla., Wayne (Susan) Hill, Tyler, Texas, and Gene (Judy) Hill, Hallsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George, and a sister, Eileen.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at noon at Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday, July 6. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.
