Milferd L. Kyllo — Byron

Milferd LeMarr Kyllo, 77, was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

Milferd was born April 9, 1934, in Byron, to Justin and Lillian Kyllo. On July 16, 1960, he married Joan Smith. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was an active member of the Southern Honkers, Rochester Roamers and The Wandering Sams. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Milferd is survived by his wife, Joan; son, Mark (Amelia) of Plymouth; daughter, Dawn of Kasson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the Community Celebration Church, 27401 Co. Hwy. 34, Kasson, on Tuesday, April 10, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. There will be no reviewal. A luncheon will follow the service at the Byron Legion.

Milferd will be laid to rest at the Southern Zumbro Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
