Master Chief David C. Kroll, formerly of Rochester, son of Dona Brunner and the late Richard Kroll, also step-son of the late John Brunner, retired with 30 years service in the United States Coast Guard on Nov. 1, 2013.

Master Chief Kroll joined the Coast Guard in October 1983 after graduating from John Marshall High School.

Master Chief Kroll is a graduate of Columbia Southern University and has a MBA in Human Resource Management. He also has a BSBA from Touro University, and an AA from the University of Phoenix.
