William Charles Brandenburg, 95 years old, passed away Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 at Seasons Hospice. Bill was born August 15th, 1926 in Luverne, MN to Henry and Minnie Brandenburg. He was raised on the family farm with his three brothers. Bill graduated from Luverne High School in 1944. He married Sarah Swiden (1926-1975) in Sioux Falls, SD on September 9th, 1948. They lived in Austin, MN for 10 years before settling in Rochester, MN. Bill married Sharon Hanson on June 30th, 1990. Bill was a very successful Insurance salesman for many years in the Rochester area. He found a lot of enjoyment spending time with family and friends, sharing meals and stories. He loved cars and driving. He and Sharon spent many hours cruising back roads and taking extended road trips to various destinations. Because of Bill and Sharon’s active and healthy lifestyle, he was able to live at home until his last days.
Bill is proceeded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his wife Sarah.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Hanson of Rochester, MN, his Children; Barb (Vaughn) Fesenmaier of Babbit, MN, Julie (Chuck) Pappas of Rio Verde, AZ, Steve (Sara) Brandenburg of Jackson, WY, Jane (Bruce) Jenkins of Duluth, MN, Lisa (John) Rajala of Grand Rapids, MN, Eric Brandenburg of Duluth, MN, nine Grandchildren, and seven Great Grandchildren.
