Olga G. Grover — Rochester

Olga G. Grover, 94, of Rochester, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Seasons Hospice.

Olga was born June 25, 1918, to Oscar and Gitta Stai in rural Wanamingo. She married the late Vernon C. Grover in 1938. She became a homemaker and raised two children. James and Carol. She loved her family dearly.

Olga was a very kind and gentle soul and had a loving and generous heart. Always putting others before herself. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years Vernon in 1998, and daughter, Carol Green in 2007.

She leaves her loving memories to son, James Grover, of Victoria; grandchildren, Ken Ramthun, Karen Heydt and Kristal Young; along with eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Seasons Hospice and or Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Seasons Hospice, Saint Marys Hospital, and all who shared Olga's last days.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Grace Lutheran Church, 800 East Silver Lake Dr. N.E. in Rochester, with Rev. Gregory Heidorn officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Zumbrota Cemetery in Zumbrota.
