Pamela A Bohks-Meek
Pamela Ann Bohks-Meek, 61, of Rochester peacefully passed away on Tuesday September 8th at her home surrounded by her family. Pam was born in Mankato, MN on April 12th, 1959 to Kenneth and Donna (Gosnell) Bohks. She attended school in Mankato. Pam served in the United States Air Force. She worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester for the last 21 years. On September 6, 1997 she married David Meek and was blessed with three children. They later divorced.
Pam grew up enjoying golf and time at the lake with her family. Many family gatherings and holidays took place at the families Minneopa Golf Course in their hometown of Mankato, MN. Pam’s greatest joy was her family. In the kitchen, pam loved to prepare large meals for everyone, using many of her mother’s recipes. A common loved dish will always be her stuffing during the holidays. Pam will always be remembered by her love for fancy clothes and fingernails. Later, Pam’s life became devoted to spoiling her 9 loved grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face.
She is survived by her children Jackie (Jesse) Johnson of Spring Valley, Bryan (Alicia) Meek of Chatfield, and Michael (Britni) Meek of Eyota; grandchildren Addy, Brock, Thomas, Owen, Henry, Harper, Lainey, Maisie, and Grace; siblings Vicki Smith of Alexandra, MN; Jeri Turensky, of Mexico ; Laura Brandon of Monticello, MN and Kyle Bohks of Poulsbo, Washington; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and nephew Gabriel Turensky.
Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 on Friday September 18th at the Eagles Club in Rochester, MN.
