Patricia C. Patzner - Chatfield

Patricia "Pat" Clare Patzner, 72, of rural Chatfield, died Saturday morning, April 14, 2012, at St. Isidore Healthcare Center in Plainview.

Pat was born July 19, 1939, at Buffalo Ridge, Wis., one of 11 children to Carl and Ida (Wolfe) Patzner. They later moved to Rollingstone where she attended school. Pat moved to Chatfield 35 years ago and worked at IBM of Rochester for 25 years.

She enjoyed living in the country, as well as fishing, hunting and gardening. Pat loved her birds and farm animals. She especially enjoyed driving her Volkswagen "Bug."

Survivors include her son, Joshua Patzner of Plainview and his fiancee, Natalia; a granddaughter, Julia; and grandson, James. She is also survived by a brother, Carl "Marie" Patzner of Mondovi; two sisters, Sister Rita Patzner of St. Francis of Assisi Heights in Rochester and Josephine "Emil" Grulkowski of Winona; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles, with the Reverend Paul Breza officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. A reception will follow services at the church. Burial of Pat’s cremated body will be in Saratoga Cemetery in rural St. Charles.
