Rachel E. Baudoin — Chatfield

Rachel E. Baudoin, 95, of Chatfield, passed peacefully of natural causes on May 27, 2016, at Susie's Care Center in Hayfield.

Rachel was born Jan. 31, 1921, in Rochester, to Emil and Minerva (Televetsky) Zempel. Rachel graduated from Rochester High School in 1939. After starting her career in retail, Rachel joined Mayo Clinic and enjoyed a 40-year career. On Feb. 20, 1954, she was united in marriage to Jerry Baudoin in Rochester.

Rachel was a member of Chatfield United Methodist Church.

Rachel is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, Jerry; one son, Keith (Gail) of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, Brian (Terri) Baudoin of Tonopah, Nev., and Kelly Baudoin of Las Vegas, Nev.; three great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends throughout the community.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

Rachel requested that her remains be donated to Mayo Clinic in furtherance of medical research.

A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined in the near future.
