Raymond M. 'Ray' Schneider - Rochester

ROCHESTER — Raymond M. "Ray" Schneider, 77, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Golden Living Center East.

Ray was born December 15, 1932, to Oscar and Golda (Morick) Schneider in Milwaukee, Wis. Ray married Ruth I. Witzke on October 10, 1956, in Minneapolis. Ray served in the Air Force and worked for UPS and Wal-Mart, and also worked as property caretaker at Bostrom Terrace.

Ray is survived by his brother, Edward (Bonnie Lou) Schneider of Barstow, Calif.; and a sister, Ruth (Frank) Gryga of Hawkins, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth; a brother, Charles; and three sisters, Rita Raue, Mardel Schneider and Erla Erglinbush.

A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, at a later date.
