Richard J. Walters - Rochester

ROCHESTER — Richard James Walters was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Stillwater, Minn., to George and Dorothy Walters. He grew up there and graduated from Stillwater High School.

He passed away March 5, 2010.

Rick (as he liked to be called) is survived by two brothers, Reverend Bob Ryan from Washington state and David Walters from Brooklyn Center; three sisters, Sharan Richey of Wabasha, Donna Scholz (Dan) of Woodbury, Minn., and Becky Urbanski (David) of Eagan, Minn.; also his longtime companion, Sandi Ewing and family; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Walters; and one brother, Tom Walters.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
