Robert (Bob) Harry Lindman was born on Feb. 6, 1943, in "Nordeast" Minneapolis to Gordon and Marion Lindman. He was the third of four children and grew up in "Nordeast" Minneapolis where he made lifelong friends, got into mischief, and accumulated many stories that he loved to tell to his children and anyone that would listen.

After graduating from Edison High in 1961, he attended the University of Minnesota until he decided to focus on a career in sales. He worked for Burroughs and eventually started his own business, Golden Triangle Business Forms.

Bob met his beautiful wife, Judith (Judy) Ann Peterson, while in high school and they were married on April 30, 1966. They made a loving home in Rochester for their three children Jody, Jed and Christian.

Bob had a lake house on Lake Zumbro where he loved to get away and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed his weekend retreats where he would fish, cook, share many stories and spend time with his faithful dog Fred. Bob loved to have a good time, share stories, play a game of cribbage, listen to music, and have a good laugh. He had a love of life and a smile that lit up the room.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his loving wife Judy. He is survived by his sister Janet Nypan, and brothers Richard (Sharon) and Jim (Kathy) Lindman; his children Jody (Bill) Peterson, Jed (Jackie) Lindman, and Christian Lindman; grandchildren Johanna and William Peterson, Kate and Kara Lindman, Zoe and Taylor Lindman, and special friend Tami Bowen.
