Robert D. Underhill -- Rochester

Robert Duane Underhill, 69, passed away peacefully on Jan. 29, 2017, at his residence in Rochester. Bob dealt with many medical issues which stemmed from having polio at a young age.

Bob was born on April 26, 1947, in Austin. He is survived by his wife, Louise Underhill; two stepsons, Mark Percival and Gary Percival; his mother, Betty Derby; and two brothers, John (Megan) Underhill and Larry Underhill. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Underhill; and sister, Janice Richards.

Bob was an avid reader and enjoyed reading books on his computer, especially about computer programming. Bob loved the outdoors and fishing was a great pastime. He truly enjoyed hockey, especially the Minnesota Wild, as well as the Gophers and Twins.

A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, First Presbyterian Church, 101 6th Ave NW, Kasson, MN, with the Rev. Brian Egelston officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Austin, at a later date.

Bob was a unique person and touched many lives. A special thank you to John, Cassisity and Tucker Chapman of Rochester for their caring hospitality over the past several years.
