Robert Dumond — Rochester

Robert Walter Dumond was born Robert Walter Speer on March 23, 1977, to Patricia Jones Dumond and Robert Walter Speer at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He was adopted by Paul Alberic Dumond on July 17, 1987.

He graduated with honors from Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Ga., in 1995. He attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., from 1995 to 1998.

He was self-educated in computer programming, and moved to Rochester in 2006 to work with one of his clients.

Robert has been described by those who knew him as kind, caring, generous, intelligent, well read, unfailingly polite with a very dry sense of humor. He will be missed by many that had come to know him.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Dumond; his brother, Paul Dumond; and his beloved son, Eli Alberic Dumond.
