Roberta "Bobbie" Huehmer - St. Paul

ST. PAUL — Roberta "Bobbie" Huehmer, beloved wife, mother and sister, died on May 1, 2010, at the age of 67, after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean Schafer; and a brother, Paul Schafer.

She is survived by her husband, John Huehmer; loving mother of Michael and Daniel Huehmer; beloved sister of Muriel (Terry) Graham, David (Elsa) Schafer, Patricia Kiszkiss, Teresa (Bill Bongard) Schafer, John Schafer; and dearest friend of the devoted Edith Kyles, Todd Pilarski and Jim Neuswanger.

Roberta committed her life to her family. She tirelessly and gladly cared for her two sons with serious physical challenges. She was a fierce advocate on their behalf and was unrelenting in her devotion to them. She lived a life defined by grace, humor and unconditional love, and inspired many others by her selfless example.

A memorial service is planned for July 24, 2010, in Stillwater, Minn.
