Ruby M. (Helgeson) Amdahl — Watertown

Ruby M. (Helgeson) Amdahl of Watertown, Minn., formerly of Rochester, passed away Thursday June 9, 2016, at the age of 101.

She is survived by her five children, Arlone Gurtner, of Iron River, Wis., Marilyn Jean (Alex) Hady, of Rochester, Ken Amdahl, of St. Paul, Kathy (Dennis) Harvey, of Norwood Young America, and Kristy (Dean) Schlake, of Holiday, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ernest Amdahl; son-in-law, Sam Gurtner; grandson, Andrew Schlake; and great-great grandson, Trevor Hady.

A memorial service will be held on June 25 at 11 a.m. at the Elim nursing home in Watertown. The burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester at a later date.
