Russell L. 'Russ' Goetsch -- Rochester

Russell Goetsch, 69, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, peacefully at his home.

Russell was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Austin, to Leonard and Margaret Goetsch.

He graduated from Hayfield High School in 1966 and went on to attend Rochester Beauty College. He worked at various salons before opening his own. Russell married Elaine M. Wendelken, of Brownsdale, Feb. 12, 1972. The couple had one son, Jason Goetsch.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Goetsch of Rochester; a son, Jason (Jodi) Goetsch of Stewartville; three grandchildren, Corey, Alexis, and Natalie; three brothers, one sister, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

The service and burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Dexter. Family and friends welcome to attend.
