Ruth M. Senjem — Vidor, Texas

Ruth M. Senjem, 93, of Vidor, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Harbor Hospice Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Sargent, Minn., she was a longtime resident of Hayfield before moving to Vidor five years ago.

Ruth worked for Libby's Packing Plant for more than 27 years in Rochester, and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and baking.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 23, 2015, at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Mary Distad of Vidor; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Regina Exe; daughter, Dorothy Hougthon; two sons-in-law, Russell Hougthon and Eugene Distad; brother, Joesph Exe; sisters, Gladys Johnson, Hazel Lee, Doris Roe and Stella Roe.
