Sally loved her country home six miles west of Harmony where she enjoyed spending time gardening. There she started her home business personalizing china. Her business blossomed into a gift shop in her basement for 40 plus years. Buying and collecting for herself and her shop was her passion. She enjoyed traveling and meeting people along the way and kept in touch with many of her friends and family through massive letter writing, mail and playing cards.

Sally is survived by her husband, Garth (79); brother, Keith (75); her six children; and grandchildren, David, Jared (Lindsi Every) and Travis (TJ) Engle, Taylor (Kathryn France), Whitney and Blair Bestor; and most recently, her great-granddaughter, Kymber Luna Bestor.

Sally donated her body to science.

A Christmas Celebration of Life Ceremony is being planned for her at the Heritage Event Center in Cresco, Iowa, on Dec. 22.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, her wish was for donations to go to her special country church, Zion United Methodist, or to your local Hospice program.
