Shelley Wilson — Rochester

Shelley C. Wilson, 58, of Rochester, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at Community Celebration Church, 27401 County Road, 34, Kasson, with Pastor Steve Larson officiating.

Shelley Catherine Wilson was born on Aug. 6, 1957, in Hibbing, to Russell and Estelle (Crea) Monson of Hoyt Lakes. Shelley grew up in Hoyt Lakes, and married Pat Sarazine in 1976. They had two children, Jason and Jennifer.

Shelley moved to Rochester to be close to family, and she met her husband, the love of her life, Mike Wilson. Shelley worked at Mayo Clinic, where she had many friends. Most recently, her life was full of her three little doggies, pontooning on the river, and anything that had to do with family. Her faith, love of family, compassionate love of animals and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Shelley is survived by her parents, Russell and Estelle Monson; husband, Mike Wilson; children, Jennifer (Jim) Lind and Jason (Kirie) Sarazine, Isaiah Wilson, Melissa Wilson , Ryan Wilson and Nicole Wilson; grandchildren, Bobby, Brandon, Brandt, Maari; siblings, Becky (Dan) Balk, Bridget Carpenter, Mary (Mike) Register, Russell (Sue) Monson, John (Deb) Monson, and Kristen (Bryan) Akervik; and many nieces and nephews.
