Stuart Scott Eickhoff - Wykoff

Stuart Scott Eickhoff, 46, formerly of Wykoff, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, Friday, June 15, 2012.

Scott was born July 3, 1965, in Fargo, N.D., and was adopted by his parents, Virgil and Marva Eickhoff of Wykoff, in November 1966. He grew up in the Wykoff area, attending St. John Lutheran School and graduating from Wykoff High School. He attended Concordia University in Seward, Neb., for two years.

Scott loved music and theater, participating in "Music Man", "Grease" and "Sound of Music" at Chatfield Western Days. He played the piano and trumpet and sang for many weddings and funerals. He worked for Norwest Bank in Denver, Colo., and Wells Fargo since moving to St. Paul.

Survivors include his best friend and partner, Joseph Gervais of St. Paul; his parents, Virgil and Marva Eickhoff of Wykoff; two brothers, Tim (Deb) of Spring Valley and Dan (Tammy) of Wykoff; one sister, Lori (Dale) Payne of Cherry Grove; 13 nieces and nephews; and 10 grand-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, at 2 p.m at St. John Lutheran Church in Wykoff, with Pastor Peter Sestak officiating.
