Tami Denise (Bang) Griggs -- Camano Island, Wash.

Tami Denise (Bang) Griggs, 52, was born April 12, 1961, in Freeport, Ill. and was called to her eternal home in Heaven July 17, 2013.

Tami was a wonderful woman, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was amazingly open and honest, serving others above herself. She had a contagious passion for life. Tami's smile and presence would brighten any room and will be missed by those who knew her and those blessed to have crossed her path.

Tami is survived by her husband, Scott and their children, Lindsey Griggs, Amanda (Evan) Erickson and Chad Griggs, all of Camano Island; her parents, Darwin and Thelma Bang of Rochester; siblings, Debra (Scott) Anderson, Darcie (Armin) Christofferson, Nathan (Laura) Bang; and many nieces and nephews. Grami Tami also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Eden and Elina Erickson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin and Ada Bang and Clarence and Tena Gangestad.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Camano Chapel on Camano Island.
