Thomas W. Gullickson — Rochester

Thomas W. Gullickson, 90, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester.

Thomas William Gullickson was born April 20, 1925, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Dr. Thor W. and Gladys (Brown) Gullickson. He grew up in Minneapolis and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during World War II. Thomas owned and operated a bar and gas station in Wisconsin. He played hockey in Minneapolis for the 7Up Bottling Company. Thomas enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and training Labrador hunting dogs.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Betty Vaughn of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be on Friday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd., Minneapolis, with the Rev. Michael Wuehler officiating.
