I know it has been almost a week since the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours event at the Home Design Studio. However, due to a wide variety of technical glitches and a busy schedule, I hadn't got them posted. Here's some and I'll probably have at one more BAH posting:

• First, I got to meet Michelle Kalina, the force behind the About Face beauty boutique opening in downtown Rochester. She was with her husband Peter, who is a doctor at Mayo Clinic. She said her boutique, which is being built in the Extraordinary Bookseller store front, should open on April 9.

• I had a chance to chat with Joel Bigelow of Bigelow Enterprises and everything else Bigelow. I appreciate how easy he is to talk to. He's an approachable down-to-earth guy. I know this expression in the pic doesn't made him look approachable, but that is a fault of the photographer (me). If you ever want to know what is going on in the building industry, he's a very good person to talk to.

The Let's Dish owners – Jessica Grayson and Susan Neumann – introduced themselves. For some reason, they wanted a pic with me... or maybe I wanted a pic with them. It has been so long, I forget.

Anyway, it sounds like their project in the Rochester Marketplace (Target) Center is well on its way. They will also be apearing on stage with two of my favorite radio personalities, Jake and Tracy of Fox 102.5 , at the Rochester Taste of Home Cooking Class on March 6 at the Rochester International Events Center. Jessica and Susan will be assisting "A Taste of Home lively home economist" on stage and Jake and Tracy will be...uh...talking? ...eating? ...eating while talking?
